To provide these pedigrees, TOP RX is supported by SupplyScape of Woburn, MA, the nation’s leading pharmaceutical authentication company.

Pedigree Compliance provides documentation of drug products throughout the distribution system. The goal is to strengthen the existing protections against counterfeit or adulterated drugs entering the U.S. marketplace. Pedigree Compliance is now an FDA requirement. TOP RX initiated its E-Pedigree Compliance program on December 1, 2006.
TOP RX customers can access pedigree information as needed via the TOP RX website (toprx.com) or via receipt of a self-authenticating “package.” Self-authentication involves the use of an electronic signature that eliminates the need for customers to authenticate manually the pedigree of drugs at any point in the distribution system.
