TOP RX, INC. Earns Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributor Certification
Memphis, TN – TOP RX, INC. (TOP RX), a leading distributor of generic
drugs, has completed the accreditation progress and earned its
Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributor (VAWD) Accreditation from
the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). The VAWD program
was developed by the NABP with the support of the U.S. Food and Drug
Association to protect the public from the threat of counterfeit
prescription drugs.

The multi-step VAWD accreditation process included documentation
of all applicable licenses, a criminal and financial background check,
and assessment of company procedures for dealing with issues such as
record keeping, pedigrees, and security. The last step is a stringent
and thorough on-site facility inspection to evaluate operations, review
facilities, interview staff, and verify documents.
The NABP is an independent association representing state boards of
pharmacies in the United States as well the boards of pharmacies in
other countries.
